Research for a national alcohol practice 'hub' |

Ranzetta Consulting are carrying out the research phase of a new information hub that will house details of interesting practice in alcohol prevention and health interventions. The Department of Health has funded Alcohol Concern for two years to develop and maintain the hub.

Libby Ranzetta is working with Alcohol Concern and the Government Office for the East Midlands to develop a self-assessment tool that local authorities can use to gauge progress on their local alcohol strategies. All CDRPs must have a strategy to tackle alcohol-related crime and disorder in place by March 2008.

Kingston alcohol strategy coordination |

Ranzetta Consulting have been commissioned to coordinate the Royal Borough of Kingston's alcohol harm reduction strategy until summer 2007. Anne Delargy will lead the work. The arrangement in Kingston is similar to that in Enfield, where Libby Ranzetta fulfils the role of alcohol strategy coordinator on a consultancy basis.

Tower Halmets DAAT has commissioned Ranzetta Consulting to develop a cross-cutting alcohol strategy and implementation plan. Fizz Annand will be leading the work, which is to culminate in a stakeholder conference in late spring 2007.
